Ogham stone in Knockshanawee

One of six ogham stones (also CO072-078003-, CO072-078004-, CO072-078005-, CO072-078007-, CO072-078008-) used in the construction of a Man-made underground passage (CO072-078002-). Discovered in 1910 and now on permanent display in the Stone Corridor, University College Cork (See CO074-134----). This stone (3.1m; 0.4m x 0.3m) was the third lintel. The inscription was given by Power (1932, 23-4, no. 27) as CUBBRIGAI MAQIMENU MAQ[........], and by Macalister (1945, 114, no. 115) and McManus (2004, 15, no. 2) as CULRIGAI MAQI MENUMAQ[I].
