This ogham stone was discovered in a Man-made underground passage in a ringfort in this townland c. 1843 (Macalister 1945, 134, no. 137). It is now one of two ogham stones on display as part of the 'Book of Kells' exhibition in the Library, Trinity College, Dublin (DU018-293----). Macalister (ibid.) read the inscription as: ANM VEDLLOIGGOI MACI SEDDOINI. (Toal 1995, 48, No. 29) Compiled by: Nora White Date of upload: 1 November 2016
