Discovered in 1846 built into a Man-made underground passage (CO085-067002-) with five other ogham stones (CO085-067003-; CO085-067004-; CO085-067006-; CO085-067007-; CO085-067008-), now in the collection of the National Museum of Ireland (see DU018-371----). The stone (1.2m; 0.5m x 0.25m) is damaged so that some of the inscription may be lost. What remains was read by Macalister (1945, 96-7, no. 99) as SACATTINI; McManus (1991, 66) had difficulty reading both I's. (Power et al. 1997, no. 7950) This stone has been studied as part of the ‘Ogham in 3D’ project undertaken by the School of Celtic Studies, Dublin Institute for Advanced Studies.
