Ballyandreen preserves a tall rectangular stone on the western ridge below Flemingstown mountain, marked with the name IRCCITOS along its eastern edge. Cattle rubbed the glyphs faint and lichen softened the edges, yet the carving still stands out in the open pasture. The dead man may have watched that same horizon, proud his name would survive on stone long after flesh forgot it.

At the lowest and westernmost point of the ridge extending W from Flemingstown mountain, on level pastureland, is a standing stone bearing an ogham inscription along the N edge of its E face. The stone stands 2.3m high and is a maximum of 1.3m wide at base and an average of .6m thick; NNE-SSW. It is roughly rectangular both on plan and in elevation but decreases in thickness towards the top. Due to a combination of weathering, lichen growth and rubbing by animals, the inscription is faint and difficult to read, but Macalister's interpretation (1945, 161-2, no. 168) appears to be correct: IRCCITOS.
