What is recorded here

Breaker waves and hungry men drove them from the coast, forcing them inland to build a hidden passage on the slope above Lispole. They grabbed three ogham stones and a cross-slab from somewhere else, smashed them into rough blocks, and buried the names inside the dark structure. Laidann maci Macorbo stopped being a person and became a wall, his identity crushed into the bones of a place designed to disappear.

This rath (KE054-006----) and Man-made underground passage (KE054-006001-) are located on a N facing slope overlooking the Lispole valley. Three ogham stones (see also KE054-006004- and KE054-006005-) and a cross-slab were reused in the construction of the Man-made underground passage. This ogham inscription occupies both angles on the E side of the stone. It was read by Macalister (1945 136, no. 139) as: LAIDANN MAQI MACORBO.
