Not inidcated is a fairy fort or earthen ringfort in Gortaphuill (athlone North By.), County Roscommon, Ireland. It occupies the east end of a broad west-east spur as a subcircular grass-covered area measuring 34 metres north-south and 30.5 metres east-west. A slight earthen bank 4.4 to 5.7 metres wide defines the perimeter, though a field wall overlies the north-east section and the bank cannot be traced west-north. No visible fosse or original entrance remains, while Rath sits approximately 160 metres to the south-south-west.
Towards the E end of a broad W-E spur. Subcircular grass-covered area (dims 34m N-S; 30.5m E-W) defined by a slight earthen bank (Wth 4.4-5.7m; int. H 0.1-0.3m; ext. H 0.1-0.2m) which is overlain by a field wall N-E and which cannot be traced W-N. There is no visible fosse or identifiable original entrance. Rath (RO047-022----) is c 160m to the SSW.
