NON-ANTIQUITY

NON-ANTIQUITY, natural cave

What is recorded here

No human hand shaped the rock, no ceremony marked its making, and no date can be written beside it. The cave belongs to water and pressure, patient enough to scrape through living stone. Antrim gives it shape, uncertainty gives it honesty, and the absence of antiquity removes the need to invent a story the rock never told.
The official Northern Ireland record identifies this as NON-ANTIQUITY - natural cave. Recorded period: UNCERTAIN. The official map point was placed at the centre of the recorded archaeological site from the source map reference.

The monument record does not grant public access. Check the route and ask the landowner before entering private land.
