What is recorded here

Necarne Castle stands as a boarded ruin south of Irvinestown, having transformed from a 17th-century plantation seat into a hospital for recovering American soldiers before surrendering to decay. The Irvines held the lands for three centuries, while Captain Hermon later hosted royal shooting parties and the United States Navy converted the halls into a large medical station. Today the outbuildings sit empty after serving as an equine college, leaving only the surrounding park open for daytime wandering while the main structure keeps its interior secrets locked behind timber.
Necarne Castle is recorded as a ruins in County Fermanagh. Its open map record supplies this location and any linked names or public references.
