Myra Juliet Farrell

Myra Juliet Farrell was born in County Clare, Ireland, on 25 February 1878, the daughter of a military engineer and an Australian woman. She left that green landscape as a child for Broken Hill, carrying a mind that already saw through walls of ordinary design. Dreams dropped inventions into her hands before dawn, and she caught them with pencil and patience. What began as childhood wonder in Clare became two dozen patents that reshaped clothing, tracking and everyday function across continents.
