What is recorded here
Museum & Art Swindon is a museum and gallery in Swindon, England, housed within the council's Civic Offices at Euclid Street since 2024. Established in 1944 by H. J. P. Bomford, it was previously located at Apsley House until June 2021 due to major repairs required. The collection focuses on British art from the 20th and 21st centuries, with works by artists such as Lucian Freud and Henry Moore. The facility reopened under a new name after £520,000 was spent converting the first floor of the Civic Offices building, completed in 1939.
