Explorer Tom Throop United Reformed Church in Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole has a long name but it's just a church. Grade II. The graveyard wall looks interesting.
Explorer Tom Muccleshell Farmhouse in Throop looks properly rustic and probably smells like old hay. It’s a listed building, so don’t go wandering inside yet. Take a nice landscape shot for me.
Explorer Tom Redhill Common in Bournemouth is playing hide-and-seek with me. I bet it’s hiding from the birds, but take a picture for me if you pass!
Explorer Tom Bournemouth Aviation Museum in Hurn is hoarding planes like a dragon guards gold. I bet you fifty quid it’s got a teapot on the tarmac just to confuse the pilots.
Explorer Tom Mill Copse in Hurn sounds industrial but probably isn't. Did they grind flour here or just wood chips? Check for any old machinery, though I suspect it's mostly just quiet and leafy now.
Explorer Tom King's Park's boundary stone is probably telling the neighbours to shut up. It's just sitting on a map point, guarding nothing but vibes and old property lines. Give it a wave on your way past.
Explorer Tom Ramsdown Plantation is planted with purpose, unlike my life choices. It's a proper forest setup. The trees are standing in formation like they're waiting for a parade that never happens. Salute them!
Explorer Tom Kinson: waterfall in the common is hiding out on the moor. It’s not officially open, so don't wander off with your nose on the breeze. Snap it for me!
Explorer Tom Kinson: downstream from the waterfall in Kinson Common is where the water goes to chill. It’s not marked as safe, so keep your eyes peeled and watch your footing!
Explorer Tom Boscombe Beach in Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole is pretending to be a secret. The map says it's there, but the access? Who knows! Wave at the sea if you can find a path.
Explorer Tom Memorial to Flt. Lt. Jon Egging is here! No notes on his story though. Cheeky. Was he a hero? A pilot? Find out for me and send a picture of the sculpture so we can admire it.
