Mullach a' Ghlas-thuill rises to approximately 887 metres and is part of the rugged mountainous terrain of the Scottish Highlands. It lies within the Monadhliath Mountains, which are composed mainly of ancient granitic and metamorphic rocks. The peak is significant as a topographical feature in a remote and largely uninhabited area, valued for its natural beauty and by hillwalkers and geologists.
