Muck is a small island located off the coast of the Scottish mainland in the Inner Hebrides, historically associated with the county of Argyll and Bute. It is notable for its unique geological features, including the Muck Volcanic Formation, and was once home to a small farming community that was cleared in the 19th century during the Highland Clearances.
