Mount Ida is a minor peak in the Lakeland region, with an elevation of approximately 250–300 metres. It lies within the geological framework of the English Lake District, characterised by volcanic and sedimentary rocks from the Ordovician and Silurian periods. While not prominent in folklore, it contributes to the cultural and natural landscape of Westmorland and Furness.
