Situated on a gentle NE-facing slope. Circular earth and stone mound (diam. 20m; H 2.5m) with a level summit (Wth 4m). The site is truncated at the S by farm track and a substantial field boundary. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Wicklow' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1997). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research. Date of upload/revision: 17 December 2008
A Bronze Age burial mound; its location and construction suggest it was part of a broader funerary landscape, though specific archaeological significance remains undocumented.
