Unlocated mound in the townland of Kilnaglinny that is described by the Offaly Historical and Archaeological Society as 'a mound of earth here in the orchard of Mr Whately's farmyard, known formerly as 'Earley's fort'. There is no evidence of a bank surrounding the mound but there is a ditch. The circumference of the ditch is 80m. The mound is flat on top. Mound is about 2m high' (OHAS file). The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Offaly' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1997).
