According to the Kerry Field Notes (1939, 25-33), when the Kerry Field Club were visiting other archaeological sites in the vicinity, they came across a large mound of stones to the N of a standing stone (KE014-101----). The above description is derived from C. Toal, ‘North Kerry Archaeological Survey’. Dingle. Brandon in association with FAS Training and Employment Authority (1995), no. 1114.
