Mound in Churchfield

Mound

What is recorded here

Mystery and wonderment touch every chamber, every corner, every living room. This is not death, but transformation. What once resisted you now remembers you back. The chamber is not separate from you. It is a room inside you, waiting to be seen. When you leave, you do not lose the chamber. You carry it forward.
There is a record (ITA Survey 1944) of a mound with some stones protruding from it at the NE angle of Coolkill church (LE024-024001-). This was probably cairn material from the walls and is no longer present. Compiled by: Michael Moore Date of upload: 13 January, 2017

The monument record does not grant public access. Check the route and ask the landowner before entering private land.
