What is recorded here

On the brow of a gentle S-facing slope in undulating grassland overlooking Loughnahulla Bay. This oval flat-topped mound (12m E-W; 11.6m N-S; H c. 0.8-1.5m) is well-preserved. Neolithic passage tomb; dates to the 4th–3rd millennium BCE. Its location and form suggest it was part of a broader ritual landscape associated with early farming communities in the region.
