Mound in Ballymeelish

In undulating countryside. A circular earthen mound (diam. c. 16m, H c. 1.4m). Neolithic passage tomb; dates to the early to middle Neolithic period (c. 3700–3000 BCE). Its construction reflects early communal burial practices and ceremonial landscape use in the region.
