In wet pasture on E bank of a stream and 150m N of the townland boundary with Thomastown. Holy well (LI056-027----) lies 240m to S. Depicted on the 1840 ed. OSi 6-inch map as a circular-shaped enclosure. It is shown on the 1897 ed. OSi 25-inch map as a circular-shaped mound (diam. c. 17m) with fosse from E-SW. Tree-covered earthwork visible on Google Earth orthoimages.
