Stands immediately SE of GA111-022003-. An almost square mortared pier (L 1.05m, W 1.05m, H 1.85m), with traces of rendering, which is surmounted by a cross. The NE face contains two plaques commemorating 'John Wiggin', dated 1837. (Robinson 1980) The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Galway Vol. I - West Galway'. Compiled by Paul Gosling (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1993). Date of upload: 05 August 2010
Cill Éinne is associated with Saint Einne, a lesser-known early Irish saint, and the site may have been a small chapel or memorial linked to local Christian tradition. The presence of a cross and commemorative plaques suggests a continuity of veneration, possibly blending pre-Christian and Christian practices at the location.

The monument record does not grant public access. Check the route and ask the landowner before entering private land.
