What is recorded here

Monumental Pillar stands one metre twenty tall in Kilcaskan graveyard, just southeast of the church, its top broken away and a name half-erased. What remains reads LUGUQRIT and LONAS, the middle lost to time or violence. Whoever set it there wanted the gap itself remembered: a life interrupted, a identity only half returned.

In Kilcaskan graveyard (CO103-003001-) just SE of the church (CO103-003002-). An upright stone (H 1.2m; 0.23m x 0.18m) bearing an ogham inscription, which Macalister (1945, 72, no. 68) read as LUGUQRIT.....LONAS.
