Terraced three-bay three-storey former warehouse, built c. 1880, now in use as retail outlet. Pitched slate roof with rendered chimneystack. Rendered walls with plaque. Segmental-arched openings with timber sash windows to upper floors. Segmental-arched openings to ground floor with fixed timber windows and pair of glazed doors, having timber fascia above.
This building forms part of an interesting group with the former industrial buildings in French Church Street and Carey's Lane. These buildings contribute to the unique character of the narrow streets in this part of the city, due to their distinctive industrial form. This building is associated with sculptor Joseph Higgins, who worked here while studying at the Crawford School of Art.
