Moel Trefriw rises to approximately 366 metres (1,201 feet) and is part of the Carneddau mountain range in the Conwy area of North Wales. It is composed mainly of volcanic rhyolite and is associated with local folklore, including legends of hidden caves and ancient druidic activity. The hill is significant for its role in the landscape of the Snowdonia National Park and as a popular walking destination.
