Moel Cae'r-ceiliog rises to approximately 300 metres and is part of the undulating upland landscape of north-west Wales. Its name, meaning "Hill of the Meadow of the Cattle," suggests historical agricultural use and may reflect early Welsh settlement patterns in the region.
