What is recorded here

Towards the bottom of a gentle S-facing slope with a dry NE-SW stream bed curving around the site W-N. Rectangular grass-covered area (dims 32.8m NE-SW; 29m NW-SE) defined by flat-bottomed moats at NE (Wth of base 5.5m; int. D 0.5m), SE (Wth of base 3.3m; int. D 0.7m; ext. D 0.5m) and NW (Wth 5m; D 0.1m) with a scarp (H 0.2m) at SW. There is an outer overgrown bank (Wth 5.7m; int. H 1.4m; ext. H 0.4m) at NE and traces of an outer bank (Wth 3m) with an outer moat (Wth of base 2.6m; int. D 0.2m; ext. D 1.1m) at SW. Compiled by: Michael Moore Date of upload: 29th September, 2010
