What is recorded here

In rough pasture, on a sloping ridge with a steep scarp down to a stream on the NE side. A rectangular area (int. diam. 27.4m x 26.1m) defined on the S, W and N sides by an earthen bank and by a scarp on the E side. The bank (Wth 2.5m; int. H 0.2m; ext. H 0.95m) has numerous gaps and on the N and W sides is overgrown with bushes. An external fosse (Wth 1.7m; D 0.5m) is evident on the W and N sides. There is a possible entrance (Wth 2.7m) near the SW corner with a causeway across the fosse.
