What is recorded here
Situated on the W-facing slope of a N-S ridge in undulating countryside. A raised square-shaped platform (dims. 52m N-S; 49m E-W) defined by a scarp (H 1-1.5m) with a modern gap (Wth 6.5m) at W and traces of a shallow outer fosse. Nineteenth-century farmhouse and garden enclosure to S and SE of platform. The field boundary enclosing the platform is probably contemporary with the farmhouse.
