Situated on slightly elevated flat pasture with extensive views. Slightly raised square-shaped area (dims. 42m N-S x 44m E-W) enclosed by an earth and stone bank (Wth 2-3m; int. H 0.5m; ext. H 1m) and flat-bottomed outer fosse (Wth 4m; D 0.5m) with possible entrance gap at E. Wall-footings protrude from top of bank at W and there is good evidence of external and internal stone facing. Possible wall-footings of a rectangular building (dims. 9m E-W; 12m N-S) against inner face of E bank.
