In level pasture. Rectangular area (64m N-S; 23.4m E-W) enclosed by an earthen bank (int. H 0.75m; ext. H 1.75m) with external fosse (D 0.75m; Wth 2.05m); both covered by dense overgrowth of bushes. Causewayed entrance (Wth 2.6m) mid-way along E side. Cattle breaks across bank at SSW and SSE. Field boundary along outer edge of fosse on W side; field drain meets fosse at SW corner. Corners of enclosing bank are rounded and noticeably higher than along sides. Interior level but area of undulations (no discernible pattern) at centre; interior densely overgrown along fringes, especially to N and W.
