Situated on an E-facing slope of rising ground in undulating countryside. Depicted on the 1st ed. (1840) OS 6-inch map as a rectangular enclosure with a rounded SW end. A hollow depression is all that remains at this site. The above description is derived from 'The Archaeological Inventory of County Tipperary.
