Depicted as hachured square enclosure (c. 60m N-S; c. 60m E-W) on 1842 OS 6-inch map, with lime kiln in SE corner; outer edge of W side of enclosure truncated by roadway; spring well, immediately to W of roadway, at NW corner of site. In pasture, on N-facing slope. Levelled; evident as barely perceptible low rise enclosing rectangular area. Listed by Barry (1981, 82, no. 24).
