In reclaimed pasture, immediately NW of a townland boundary with Rootiagh. Not depicted on OSi historic maps. Monument identified by the Bruff aerial photographic survey in 1986 (Bruff 154: AP 4/3607), as a rectangular-shaped earthwork. Monument is clearly visible as a rectangular-shaped enclosure (23m NW-SE; 18m NE-SW) defined by a bank with external fosse to SW, NW and NE and incorporated into the townland boundary to SE, on OSi orthoimage taken 2005-2012, on Digital Globe orthoimage taken 2011-2013 and on Google Earth orthoimage taken 20/09/2020.
