In improved wet pasture, cut by land drains and watercourses, 45m S of a townland boundary with Cloghaviller, in the valley of the Camoge River which is 870m to W. Cashels (LI032-086/087/085----) lie approx. 320m to S and SW. Monument is not depicted on OSi historic maps. Monument identified by the Bruff aerial photographic survey in 1986 (Bruff 288: AP4/3636) as a long rectangular-shaped earthwork in the S corner of a field. Upstanding monument is visible as a long rectangular-shaped area (64m NW-SE; 27m NE-SW) defined by a bank/scarp with external fosse, as seen on OSi orthoimage taken 2005-2012, on Digital Globe orthoimage taken 2011-2013 and on Google Earth orthoimage 20/09/2020. A field boundary running ENE-WSW traverses the monument across the SE portion.
