135m S of mine (CO139-054---; CO139-058---); infilled mine working driven 275° into E-facing rock scarp. Interior waterlogged with probable peat deposit; not excavated. Probed length 3m plus; entrance (Wth 1m; H 0.3m). Outside entrance, large semi-circular spoil mound (c. 15m N-S; 13m E-W); water-eroded channel (L 7.3m; Wth 0.5m; D 0.7m); stone mauls exposed in section. (O'Brien 1987: mine 29).
