Unlocated millstone quarry within townland, mentioned in OPW correspondence files which describes 3 millstones and 1 polygonal stone on slope of mountain in Fiddane/Derrygureen , the millstones measured 5 ft in diameter. The above description is derived from 'The Archaeological Inventory of County Tipperary. Vol. 1 - North Tipperary' compiled by Jean Farrelly and Caimin O'Brien (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2002).
