What is recorded here

In pasture, on a break on a S-facing slope. This rath is not visible at ground level and a farm trackway crosses the approximate area of it. It is indicated on the 1895 OS 6-inch map as a roughly circular enclosure (diam. c. 50m). According to local information, it was levelled in the 1970s. It was described in the 1940s as a 'large' fort (Minutes of the Co. Kerry Field Club, 1945, vol. 1, 610-11). A Man-made underground passage (KE057-023001-) and six ogham stones (KE057-023002-, KE057-023003-, KE057-023004-, KE057-023005-, KE057-023006-, KE057-023007-) are associated with this rath.
