On level ground with rock outcrop on the NW bank of the SW-NE Killukin river. A mill-race (L c. 100m) visible as a silted drain (Wth of base 1.8m; ext. D 0.2-0.3m; int. D 0.7-1m) runs E-W c. 30m from the stream with an upcast bank (Wth c. 3m; int. H 0.1-0.2m) on its S side. It originates at two points on the stream and returns to it just above the waterfalls. The grass-covered foundations of a mill are visible as a platform (dims 10m N-S; 8.7m E-W) defined by scarps (H 0.1-0.3m) on the S bank of the mill-race, just E of a pond (dims c. 10m x c. 10m). The field system (RO011-162002-) is N of the mill race.
