What is recorded here
In dunes along the NW coast of Fínis. This midden was brought to our attention by Erin Gibbons in April 2014. It consists of seashells, mainly limpets and periwinkles, exposed over a large area (c. 23m E-W; 4-5m N-S) on the ground surface of the dunes. Loose and semi-earthfast boulders are visible but no discernible pattern is evident.
