What is recorded here
Meres Cliff is a sea cliff located in Cornwall, formed primarily of Devonian slate and schist. These rocks were metamorphosed under high pressure and temperature during the Variscan Orogeny around 300 million years ago, and the cliff is notable for its resistant rock formations that have withstood coastal erosion.
