Death came for Laurence M Donogh in 1814, but stone refused to let him vanish. They set his name into the chapel wall where passing carts could still read it, joining a cross marked IHS and an angelic face that watches the road without blinking.

Built into wall of the chapel grounds on S side of a road c. 80m E of GA110-007----. All that survives is a plaque commemorating 'Laurence M Donogh', dated 1814, and a cross bearing the letters IHS and an angelic face.
