Megan Campbell

Megan Campbell was born in 1993 on Scarlet Street in Drogheda, where she played youth football for local teams before joining St Francis. Four weeks after turning sixteen, she ran onto the pitch for the FAI Women's Cup final, a sudden entry into adult pressure that her small hometown could not contain. She later carried that edge to Manchester City and Liverpool, becoming famous for throwing the ball thirty-seven metres, a distance that turned a simple rule into a weapon.
