MEGALITHIC TOMB? (unlocated) in Lettershendony

MEGALITHIC TOMB? (unlocated)

What is recorded here

Yes. Court tomb with central passage and chamber, flanked by long parallel kerbs. The chamber held dead and memory; the kerbs marked the boundary between the living field and the dead. People walked this place, buried their own, and returned to mark time or pray. The stones still stand because that relationship never stopped.
The official Northern Ireland record identifies this as MEGALITHIC TOMB? (unlocated). Recorded period: PREHISTORIC. The official map point was placed at the centre of the recorded archaeological site from the source map reference.

The monument record does not grant public access. Check the route and ask the landowner before entering private land.
