On a field visit to the portal tomb (CW022-010001-) in Ballynasilloge townland, it was noted that that there were, ‘3 further megalithic structures, one to the SW of the tomb and two in the gorse fields to the N’. In relation to the megalithic structure to the N (CW022-010003-), a field visit in 2007 to identify and locate this structure ascertained that the field to the N of the portal tomb was heavily overgrown with gorse, completely obscuring any structures.
