Why this matters
Meg's Craig is a sea cliff located in Angus, composed primarily of Silurian greywacke and volcanic rocks. These rocks formed around 430 million years ago through the deposition and consolidation of sediments in a deep marine environment, later subjected to volcanic activity and tectonic uplift.
