Façade of freestanding single-bay single-stage vault, extant 1909. Granite ashlar wall between cut-granite piers on cut-granite plinths with lichen-covered cut-granite rounded coping centred on embossed cast-iron panel. Set on hillside with grass verge to front.
The façade of a vault representing an integral component of the nineteenth-century built heritage of south County Dublin with a vague inscription allegedly pertaining to the family of John Richardson (d. 1884), 'Gentleman late of [Clay Farm] Kilgobbin County Dublin' (Calendars of Wills and Administrations 1884, 701; cf. 60260009).
