What is recorded here
Situated on the SW bank of a NW-SE section of the River Blackwater and on the demesne of Headford House. An eight-sided mausoleum is built on top of a mound (diam. of top c. 17m; diam. of base c. 27m E-W; c. 25m N-S; H 1.6-1.8m N-E to 3m S-W) which has a platform (dims c. 12m x 12m; H 0.8m) attached to the E. The platform raises a path to the top of the mound and the door of the mausoleum. The mound was probably built for the mausoleum.
