What is recorded here

In a slight fold of a gently undulating landscape. This is an oval flat topped stone (dims 0.75m x 0.6m; H 0.7m) with a cross (H 0.28m; Wth 0.18m) on its S side, which is known as Carraig an Aifrinn. It had cracked and is now repaired with cement, and it is surrounded by a concrete apron (diam. c. 1.5m). The above description is derived from 'The Archaeological Inventory of County Leitrim' compiled by Michael J. Moore (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2003).
