What is recorded here

No visible chamber, no carved frame, no distinct altar edge. The candidates sit scattered under the ash like rejected answers to a question nobody remembers asking. Perhaps the rock is not one stone but the whole cluster, waiting for someone to stop choosing and start seeing.
According to the landowner, there is a mass-rock at this location. About 30m west of the burial ground (CO091-073----) are a group of large boulders around the base of an ash tree. It is not clear which is the mass-rock but is probably the southern one, which is rectangular in shape and almost level (mentioned in a local history book called ‘Hidden Gold’ ed. Julia Kemp FAS 1998, p.159) Compiled by: Tony Miller Date of upload: 25 February 2015

The monument record does not grant public access. Check the route and ask the landowner before entering private land.
